Putrescent Knight Boss Location In Shadow Of The Erdtree
Starting from the Fissure waypoint, drop down into the large opening in the ground and use the rocks jutting out of the cliff face to break your fall. Continue all the way down to the bottom, where a tunnel is located. Follow it. At the end is the Stone Coffin Fissure waypoint. At this point, turn right and follow the path.
Exploring The Stone Coffin Fissure In Elden Ring
When you see the stone flooring on your left, walk across it and jump onto the path on the right side. Follow this path to the very end and jump off the cliff.
Keep going and follow the path of water. You’ll come across a glowing beam and another Lost Grace waypoint. Turn left here. Follow the ruined structures downhill and avoid the numerous enemies in this area. You’ll need all your strength for later.
Take the path on the right side of the leaning building to get to the roof. Cross over the roof and follow the path uphill to reach the back side of the building. Jump onto the roof of the other building with the piles of explosive balls. Jump off this building on the side with the Lost Grace point.
Take the path to the right of the waypoint. When the path ends, jump the narrow gap to the rock across from it and then jump the gap on your left. Walk straight and there is another Lost Grace point. Take the set of stairs next to it and at the very end, jump into the depths of the fissure. At the bottom, you’ll land in a field of purple flowers. The Petrescent Knight will run out of a cave and attack you.
How to Defeat Putrescent Knight Boss In Elden Ring
The Petrescent Knight Boss consists of a horse and a knight. The recommended level is 160+ and it’s also recommended that you have 60+ Vigor.
The Petrescent Knight’s first attack involves him leaping off his horse. He will hit the ground and then do a spinning attack, advancing in a straight line. While this is happening, his horse will come out of nowhere and ram you from any angle. Your best bet here is to dodge as many of these attacks as possible and heal up the moment you have a chance. The knight returns to his horse, but any time he jumps off, he will do these attacks.
His other strong attack includes waves of ice flame magic. You’ll know this is about to happen when he and his horse rise into the air on a black wave. There are three waves of fire magic. Getting hit by all three will kill you. Jump over the flame attacks.
His other attack is a normal swinging melee attack when he’s on horseback.
Summon your Mimic Tear ashes the moment you land in the area to distract the boss. Use long-distance attacks to wear down his health. Keep dodging and keep your distance when he focuses on you. The boss has lower health but moves around a lot and throws a lot at you. Make sure to heal to full health every chance you get.
Keeping these steps in mind, you should be able to defeat the Petrescent Knight in no time.
