Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Igon Questline takes you from the Dragon’s Pit to the Jagged Peak Summit. You will face some formidable foes as you follow Igon’s questline, so make sure you’re ready for them. This guide covers where to find Igon and how to complete his story.
How to Begin Igon’s Questline in Elden Ring DLC
To begin Igon’s questline, you must first find him. Igon is curled up on the ground next to the Pillar Path Waypoint. He’s in the middle of the trail and easy to spot.
After speaking with him, you need to head to the Jagged Peak. The best way to get there is through the Dragon’s Pit. From Igon’s location, continue down the path away from the waypoint. Keep going straight and you’ll come across an enemy called the Ancient Dragon-Man. If you can, attack from a distance before approaching him. Also keep an eye out for flying enemies that may attack you in this area.
Vanquish the invader and the follow the trail. Keep close to the cliff face on your left. Not far down, you’ll find the entrance to a cave.
Go to the Dragon’s Pit
Enter the Dragon’s Pit. Follow the path, sticking to left-hand turns while dodging enemies. You’ll come across a larger room full of stairs. Keep left and head deeper into the cave. Once you reach a room full of candles, go to the edge of the floor and jump into the darkness below. At the bottom is another small cave with a mist at the end. Approach it and traverse the mist.
On the other side, you’ll face the Ancient Dragon-Man again and you’ll have to defeat him in battle. Go through a set of double doors once you’re done and follow the path to reach the exit
Speak to Igon and Defeat the Boss
At the Foot of the Jagged Peak, you’ll have to defeat two drakes. Igon can be found on the ground after the fight. Speak to him again and he will give you “Igon’s Furled Finger”, which can be used to call him in battle.
Now, you’ll need to go to the Jagged Peak Summit and defeat the boss, Bayle of the Dread. You can summon Igon in this battle. Because of its difficulty level, having 15+ Scadutree Blessing before this fight is recommended.
After defeating the boss, return to the last place you spoke with Igon. You are rewarded with his full equipment set, which can be looted from his body.
