The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Saga of the Seaside Inn side quest can be found in the Corel Region during Chapter 7. This is a quest done with Yuffie.
Beginning the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth- The Saga of the Seaside Inn Side Quest
Talk to Johnny at the Seaside Inn and he’ll explain that he wants to give it a makeover. Things take an unexpected turn when a second Johnny appears. You have three dialogue options to pick from.
- “He looks just like you.”
- “You a ninja?”
- “You have a twin?”
All choices lead to Yuffie realizing the clones she made might have gotten out of hand.
He explains he sent his other selves to get materials but they never returned and asks for your help. Yuffie convinces Cloud to help.
Track Down the Johnnys at the Costa Falls
Your next objective is to track down the Johnnys at the Costa Falls. The Johnnys tell Cloud and Yuffie that they dropped all their material after being attacked by fiends by the zipline. Find all eight ziplines on your map and place a custom marker. You’ll have to travel to each location to recover the refurbishment materials. All parts are right by the start of the zipline.
Deliver the refurbishment material to the Johnnys. You’ll have three dialogue options after they ask if he found anything.
- “Need to know where they are first.”
- “No.”
- “Yes.”
Select “Yes” to give them the materials. They tell you other Johnnys went to find parts to fix a boiler.
Tack Down the Johnnys at the Factory Ruins
Head to the Factory Ruins to find the next set of Johnnys. They’ll tell you nobody makes the part they’re looking for anymore, so they decided to hunt for a transmuter chip in an old Republic-era factory and make it themselves. They ask you to help them find the factory. Chadley recommends visiting Lifesprings, which contains knowledge about the location of transmuter chips.
Head to the building right behind the Johnnys. They’re astounded by your ability to find the factory and recommend using a Chocobo to sniff out the part. The Chocobo you need is unlocked from the Rendezvous in Costa Del Sol side quest and expedition intel 1 and 2 must be done first.
When the Chocobo gets near a place of interest, a question mark appears next to them before the ground starts to glow. Approach the glowing area to dig up the parts. There are three things to dig up in the area. Return to the Johnnys and transmute the boiler valve once you’ve found them all. Hand it over to the Johnnys and they’ll tell you there’s one more of them that needs help in the desert looking for the Tonberry king crown.
The Last Johnny
Head to the desert to find the last Johnny. He’ll tell you the crown is in the dunes and to not keep him waiting or he’ll die of thirst. Unfortunately for this Johnny, you have to advance the story to Chapter 9 before you can continue. The Tonberry King is found at “Classified Intel: Heavy Lies the Crown”, which is unlocked after finding all six expedition intel.
Fight the Tonberry King and use Steal Materia on the crown when the Tonberry King drops it. Return to the last Johnny and select the dialogue option “Hand over the pristine one” to give the crown to him.
Rewards for the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth- The Saga of the Seaside Inn Side Quest
Return to the first Johnny back at the inn. Once they finish remodeling the inn, the cloned Johnnys will vanish. The remaining one offers to showcase any rare artifacts that you find. You’ll be rewarded for completing the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Saga of the Seaside Inn side quest with 1,100 EXP, 10 part EXP, 5 SP for Red and Yuffie, and your relationship with Yuffie deepens.
