How to Find the Gothic Remake Dark Arts Robe in the Sunken Tower
Xardas’ Sunken Tower is an optional area, not connected to the main Xardas quest. Prepare for combat, as you will need to fight multiple enemies, including a powerful Demon Lord. You will also need a fire spell, a wind spell, and an ice spell to solve the Sunken Tower door puzzle, but you can find the spell runes in a chest inside the tower.
How to Enter the Tower and Solve the Gothic Remake Sunken Tower Door Puzzle
From the cliff overlooking the Sunken Tower, make your way down into the water.
Swim towards the waterfall and you will find an entrance. Dive and go through the underwater door. Keep going until you can resurface.
Explore the area and collect the Tower Stone 1 from the chest, which also contains the three spells needed to open the door.
Dive into the water, keep going down along the stone wall until you reach the underwater stairs. Follow the stairs and resurface. Go up the stairs and advance into the corridor. Turn left and reach the area with the cells. Go up the stairs and follow the path to reach the Sunken Tower door.
Standing on the platform in front of the door, cast a fire spell, a wind spell, and an ice spell towards the door to open it.
How to Collect the Dark Arts Robe
Go through the door and you will soon run into a Demon Lord enemy. Defeat it and collect the Gothic Remake Dark Arts Robe.
Head back into the corridor and turn left. Explore the rooms to collect the Tower Stone II from the chest behind the locked gate. The chest also contains the Teleport to the Sunken Tower rune, the item needed to unlock the Mercy Over Madness trophy.
Place the Tower Stones in the slots to open the gate.
Defeat the Zombie and loot the chest to obtain the Amulet of Stone Skin and Death to the Undead rune. Before leaving Xardas’ Sunken Tower, make sure you’ve explored all rooms for additional loot.
