Gothic Remake Xardas Quest – How To Find All Three Golems

Gothic Remake Xardas is a quest that requires you to find a powerful mage. To access his location, you must find and kill three golems.

How to Complete the Gothic Remake Xardas Quest

Xardas is the first main quest in Chapter 4. Follow the story and Saturas will task you with finding Xardas. To enter his tower, you will need to present the gate keeper with three golem hearts.

How to Find and Defeat the Three Gothic Remake Golems

All three golems are powerful enemies, but, luckily, each one has a weakness. If you know what weapons and spells to use, the encounters will be significantly easier:

• The Stone Golem is weak against blunt weapons. Make sure to bring a weapon with high blunt damage, such as the Orc Hammer.
• The Ice Golem is weak against fire spells. You can buy Fire Bolt spell scrolls from Cronos.
• The Fire Golem is weak against ice spells. You can buy Ice Bolt and Ball Lightning spell scrolls from Cronos.

Don’t forget to loot the golems’ hearts after beating them. You will need them to access the Gothic Remake Xardas quest location.

Stone Golem Location

To reach the Stone Golem, leave the Old Camp through the north gate and head left.

Pass the cart on the right and keep going until you spot the tower on the right.

Turn left and follow the path upwards to find the Stone Golem.

Dodge the golem’s attacks while hitting it with your blunt weapon.

The Ice Golem

From the Stone Golem location, head towards the snowy area and keep to the right.

Climb, enter the cave, make a right, and keep climbing once you exit the cave.

Follow the snowy path, leading to a cave, where you will find the Ice Golem.

Hit the enemy with fire spells and watch out for the ice shards.

The Fire Golem

From the Ice Golem location, go into the cave and make your way down into the water. Head towards the lava.

Cross the stone bridge with the lava on the left and climb the big stone stairs to enter the cave, where you will find the Fire Golem.

Use your ice spells and watch out for the lava pools.

How to Find Xardas

Leave the Fire Golem’s cave and follow the path to reach the Gothic Remake Xardas Tower. Enter the tower and notice the red barrier.

Go up the stairs on the other side and interact with the demon. Select the “I need to talk to Xardas” dialogue option and complete the dialogue.

Return downstairs and notice that the barrier is no longer blocking the door. Go all the way up the stairs to reach the top of the tower and find Xardas. Explore all the dialogue options to end the quest.
