Gothic Remake The Almanac is a quest that requires you to find a book. To complete this mission, you’ll have to venture into a cave filled with goblins.

How to Complete the Gothic Remake The Almanac Quest
The Almanac quest starts once you return to Y’Berion and complete The Focus Stone quest. Y’Berion mentions a book on the use of Focus Stones and wants you to find it. This is a combat-heavy mission, so make sure to equip your best armor and weapons.
How to Find Talas and Milten
Your first task is to check on Talas. He is near the castle gate in the Old Camp.
Talk to him and ask about the Focus Stones book. Explore all the dialogue options and offer to help. Next, you need to find Milten. Continue towards the castle and turn left to notice Milten standing in the door.
Ask about the book and he’ll tell you that he lost it when a horde of black goblins attacked him. Milten will give you directions on how to find the goblins, but there’s an easier way to reach the spot. Return to Talas and he’ll offer to escort you. All you need to do is follow him and he will lead you to the bridge, near the cave entrance.
How to Reach the Goblin Cave and Find the Almanac Book
Cross the bridge and head left towards the goblin cave. Talas won’t follow you into the cave, so you are on your own from now on.
Defeat the goblins outside and enter the cave. Follow the path – defeating all the enemies you encounter – until the road splits. Take the left path and keep going until you spot a wooden wheel.
Follow the path to the right and descend to reach a room with a bonfire. Look around and you will spot a wooden gate.
Go through the gate and open the chest to find the Gothic Remake The Almanac book.
You can now leave the cave. If you have the climbing skill, go up the ledge past the bonfire and you will reach a climbing spot. The alternative is to return the way you came. Once you are out of the cave, speak to Talas. He is waiting next to the bridge. Your next destination is Swamp Camp. You can follow Talas or find the way yourself. Talk to Y’Berion at the Swamp Camp and he will ask you to choose one of the three rewards:
- 150 ore nuggets.
- Sleep Scroll x 3.
- Extract Magic Energy Potion x 5.
