How to Obtain Gothic Remake Armor

There are several armor sets you can obtain early in the game:

Digger’s Dress.
Digger’s Light Trousers and Digger’s Trousers.
Camp Armor.
Ancient Ore Armor.

The recommendation is to get the Digger’s Dress Armor and then buy Digger’s Light Trousers or Digger’s Trousers if you can afford it. Start working on the Camp admission quest towards your faction of choice as soon as possible, as these quests may take a long time. How to Get the Gothic Remake Digger’s Dress Armor

Make your way to the New Camp. Continue uphill, follow the path to the left, and keep going until you reach the wagon in front of a tunnel entrance.

Enter the tunnel and follow the linear path to get outside. Keep to the right, following the mud tracks, and you will arrive at the Free Mine. Interact with the Mercenary and tell him you want to take a look at the mine.

Go down the ramp towards the house and interact with Swiney.

Tell him you want to become a digger and he’ll give the Digger’s Dress armor for free.

How to Get Digger’s Light Trousers and Digger’s Trousers Armors

You can buy Digger’s Light Trousers armor from Fisk at the Old Camp for 313 ore nuggets. You will find Fisk sitting on a bench near the south gate.

You can buy this Gothic Remake Armor for 324 ore nuggets from Alberto in the Old Mine. To reach the Old Mine, exit the New Camp and go around the hill on the left. Alberto is next to Ian, the NPC involved in the Test of Faith and Something the Matter? quests. You will visit the Old Mine during the Admission to the New Camp quest chain.

How to Get the Ancient Ore Armor

The Ancient Ore Armor is a late-game armor, however, you can get it early in the game. To access the location, you must complete the quest that unlocks the inner part of the Old Camp. Enter the castle and make a left to reach the throne room, where you will find Gomez.

You need Gomez’s key, which you can obtain by beating him and his bodyguards or pickpocketing him. If you decide to take the key by force, wait until nighttime to defeat the bodyguards and take their weapons. They wander around, so you can take them down separately. Return at nighttime and follow Gomez upstairs. Fight him on the stairs and take his master key. Gomez also carries a two-handed sword and a ring, so make sure to loot those as well. Continue up the stairs and enter the room on the left, where you will find the Ancient Ore Gothic Remake Armor inside a chest.
