The Gothic Remake Mount is a welcome addition, as it allows players to travel faster. The Scavenger Mount comes as a reward for completing the Beak Performance side quest.

How to Unlock the Gothic Remake Mount
You can start the Beak Performance side quest and obtain the Scavenger Mount at any time. However, you will need 280 ore nuggets to obtain the necessary items. You can collect the items in advance if you want to complete the quest as soon as possible.
How to Find Cohsel Start the Beak Performance Side Quest
To start the quest, you must find the quest giver, an NPC named Cohsel. Facing the Old Camp north gate, turn right and follow the path towards the New Camp. When you reach the crossroads, go right and continue on the downward path. Pass the house on the right and keep going until you see a log.
Turn left and go uphill to reach Cohsel’s house.
Interact with Cohsel and go through all the dialogue options. Ask him about the Scavenger Mount three times to trigger the Beak Performance quest.
How to Complete the Beak Performance Side Quest and Obtain the Gothic Remake Mount
Cohsel asks you to bring him:
- Kingstide Algae x 5.
- Wolf Pelts x 3.
- Leather Strips x 3.
How to Get Kingstide Algae
You can harvest Kingstide Algae from bodies of water, such as the lake in New Camp. Collect them and return to Cohsel to start the second part of the quest.
How to Get Wolf Pelts
You can buy Wolf Pelts from traders or talk to Aidan to learn how to harvest animals. In exchange for 1 LP and 250 ore nuggets, he will teach you how to remove fur. Hunt some wolves and collect their skins. Aidan’s hut is close to Cohsel’s. Obtain the Wolf Pelts and hand them over to Cohsel to start the third part of the quest.
How to Get Leather Strips
You can buy Leather Strips from Fisk at the Old Camp.
After delivering the Leather Strips to Cohsel, wait until the next day and talk to him to receive the Scavenger Whistle, the item that allows you to summon your Gothic Remake Mount. Go to the Miscellaneous tab in your inventory, equip the whistle, and use it to summon the Scavenger Mount.
