The Cult’s Recipe Side Quest in Gothic Remake occurs in Old Camp during your attempts to impress Diego. To complete this one, you’ll have to travel all the way to Swamp Camp and do some lockpicking to get your hands on the recipe.
How to Complete the Cult’s Recipe in Gothic Remake
Talk to Dexter to start the quest. Ask him about joining as a Shadow and he’ll give you a job that involves stealing Cor Kalom’s dreamjuice recipe from Swamp Camp. From there, you’ll have two options:
- Speak to Baal Parvez who can be found near Dexter with face tattoos. He can escort you to the camp.
- The other method, which is admittedly more difficult, is traveling to Swamp Camp on your own.
If you want a bit of a challenge, keep reading; otherwise, skip to the Finding the Recipe section.
Getting to Swamp Camp
The best way to get to Swamp Camp on your own is to leave Old Camp through the South Gate. Follow the path, heading east. A map of the colony can actually be purchased from Dexter, so keep checking your map to make sure you’re heading in the correct direction, towards Swamp Camp.
There are enemies along the way so if you want to avoid them, best to accept an escort to Swamp Camp instead..
Finding the Recipe
Walk into camp and look for Lester. This will help you get access to Swamp Camp. Ask him to show you around and specifically for him to bring you to Cor Kalom’s Laboratory.
Go up the stairs and inside the lab. There are two ways to get to the recipe locked inside the chest. You can sneak by Cor, or you can sleep until midnight and sneak back into the lab when Cor will be asleep.
After you pick the lock on the chest, you’ll get the recipe. Return it to Dexter. In addition to Dexter putting in a good word with Diego, you get 350 XP and 3 dreamcall.
