GreedFall 2 HP Recovery Mechanics

The three active ways to recover HP and lost health are:

Resting.
Using consumables.
Using healing skills.

Characters passively restore HP over time. While this is a free and easy way to recover health, you shouldn’t rely on this method. It can also be painfully slow to fully replenish your lost health too. However, thankfully, there are better options available to us..

Rest in a Bed or at a Fast Travel Location

Beds and fast travel locations are resting areas that allow you to fully recover lost health, HP and action points. You can find a bed in your house and at campfires. Fast travel locations are scattered all over the map. You will discover them as you explore new areas. When resting, you can choose how long you would like to sleep. This is the only way to fully restore HP, so make a habit out of resting whenever you get the chance. Keep in mind that enemies will respawn if you rest for too long.

Use GreedFall 2 HP Recovery Consumables

Healing consumables restore a character’s HP. You can find consumables as loot or craft them at a workbench. Check the Recipes tab to see what potions you can create. You can restore HP with healing potions during a tactical pause. Place the potion you want to use on your hotbar for easier access. The hotbar also has a dedicated slot that allows you to see all the HP potions you can use. Healing potions allow you to restore HP in combat, so make sure you always have a decent supply in your inventory.

Unlock Healing Skills

Certain companions and skill trees have spells that restore HP. Nilan, one of the early game companions, has the Initiate’s Healing spell. Depending on your chosen class, you might have access to healing skills as well. The Path of Charity skill tree includes healing and support abilities. Keep in mind that using skills consumes action points.
