GreedFall 2 The Dying World Treasure Island side quest sends you on a scavenger hunt. You will have to solve four riddles to find the hidden treasure on Uxantis.

How to Start and Complete the GreedFall 2 Treasure Island Side Quest
The Treasure Island side quest begins when you pick up the old letter in the Fishing Mermaid tavern. You will arrive at the tavern during the main story quest.
Collect the note sitting on the table next to the barrel and the quest will automatically begin. Don’t forget to grab a shovel before starting the scavenger hunt. To complete this GreedFall 2 side quest, you must decipher four riddles leading to secret locations.
How to Solve the Uxantis Treasure Island Riddle
In each location, you will find a chest containing a reward and the riddle hinting at the next location.
Uxantis Treasure Hunt – First Riddle
The first riddle is in the old letter you picked up at the Uxantis inn. You must go “where none but waves make sound, where seagulls’ cries with ocean’s roar abound, traverse the skies on planks and rope”. Take the Peninsula Camp fast travel point and head south to reach the first chest buried next to a tree stump.
Uxantis Treasure Hunt – Second Riddle
The second GreedFall 2 Treasure Island riddle instructs you to find the place “near where a foreign noble lays their head. Below a den of pirates could be seen, a hidden cave where next ye must descend”. Go to the Uxantis Foreigner’s Quarters, traverse the bridge, and go under the walkway to enter a small hidden cave. You will immediately spot the chest’s location.
Uxantis Treasure Hunt – Third Riddle
The third chest is hidden in a grave “where my comrade lies at rest, afar from city’s noise, near a sandstone arch”. Travel to the Uxantis Countryside entrance and follow the path to the north to reach the third chest.
Uxantis Treasure Hunt – Fourth Riddle
The final riddle points you to the “shores where playful sea bream swim. Just north of these wild lands, ’tis near a rock asunder ‘neath the shore. Go to the Peninsula and walk all the way to the end of the sandy rocky strip to find the hidden treasure and complete the Treasure Island quest.
Our reward is The Mourning Rapier, which is a legendary sword that comes in handy during the early game.
