As Hornet, players will explore the kingdom of Pharloom, a land haunted by Silk and Song. What might come as a surprise is just how vast the place truly is. Thankfully, Silksong introduces a Fast Travel system to help ease the journey. Much like the Stag Stations in Hollow Knight, though with its own twist, Pharloom features the Bellways. Here’s how to unlock and use them.
How to Fast Travel in Hollow Knight Silksong
Fast Travel in Hollow Knight Silksong is tied to the Pharloom Bellways. Unlike the system in the prequel, however, unlocking them requires defeating a major boss.
Players can begin unlocking Fast Travel by heading to The Marrow. Keep moving forward until you reach Shakra, the Merchant’s location. From there, go left and climb upward, then follow the arrow on the right that leads to the Bell Beast. At first, the Bell Beast is trapped in silk, preventing the fight from starting. To break the threads, you’ll need a Silkspear. Only then will the battle begin. As the first major boss in Hollow Knight Silksong, the Bell Beast puts up a tough challenge, so be prepared for a difficult fight.

Defeating the Bell Beast unlocks the Bellways system. Once hostile, the creature now becomes a friendly companion who helps you travel across Pharloom.
Here’s how to fast travel in Hollow Knight Silksong
- Reach the bellways
- Stand on the platform and tap Travel. If the Bell Beast is on the other station, players will see ‘Call’ instead. Tapping it will call forth the Bell Beast, and it will be summoned after a short while.
- Interact with Bell Beast and select a location.
- Press the Travel button and wait until you arrive in the target location.
You cannot fast travel just by looking and pointing at your map. The Bell Beast is your first, only real, option of travelling around to various different places. Meaning you will need to defeat it if you want this option unlocked.
