How to Defeat The Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood
The strategy on how to defeat the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood is unique from any other boss fight for one main reason- this fight involves you taking on multiple enemies.
Step One- Defeat the Siblings
At the start of the fight, your only enemy will be the Eldest. It’s a good idea to summon a specter before entering the boss room, and then wait for the specter to start attacking.
Once the Eldest loses a few HP, one of his siblings will jump in and start attacking you, making the method on how to defeat the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood much harder. Your job is to let the specter worry about the Eldest and take on the siblings as they arrive.
The siblings will arrive in a random order, and they may even jump in together. You should target them in whatever order they came in. Each sibling also has its own weaknesses to exploit.
The youngest sibling is susceptible to quick attacks. It’s pretty easy to stun-lock her with fast attacks, nullifying her completely. On the other hand, the Eccentric sibling is weak to backstabs. Finally, to defeat the Battle Maniac sibling, try blocking his attacks and then countering.
However, what makes this even more difficult is that the Eldest will also be attacking you as you take on the Siblings. He uses a sword with a long reach, so to avoid these attacks, try to lure the siblings as far away from the Eldest as you can.
Step Two- Defeat the Eldest
After you defeat the siblings, you can finally start to think about how to defeat the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood.
The Eldest uses a set of devastating combos, which you can choose to dodge completely or parry. This is entirely down to your playstyle. Parrying is more effective, but it’s also more risky.
If you choose to dodge his attacks, then attack the Eldest during the moments after he finishes a combo. During this time, the Eldest basically resets, leaving him vulnerable for a couple of seconds.
If you choose to parry, use the split second that you stagger the Eldest to land a couple of strikes. Then, go back to defense and repeat.
Keep repeating your chosen method, and after a while, you will eventually defeat the Eldest of the Black Brotherhood.
