How to Start the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Drowner’s Map Treasure Hunt
Make your way to the Zhelejov tavern and look for the innkeeper. These NPCs are tipsters that reveal various locations of interest. Make sure to interact with them whenever you find yourself near an inn.
The innkeeper in Zhelejov tells Henry that some locals are after a Water Goblin’s treasure. Listen to what the innkeeper has to say and check your map. You will notice two new marker locations: the Water Goblin’s Hut and the Bathing Spot.
How to Find the (KCD2) Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Drowner’s Map Treasure
To get the treasure, you must first find the map at the Bathing Spot location. Visiting the Water Goblin’s Hut is optional. Here are the rewards, so you can decide if it’s worthwhile.
How to Loot the Water Goblin’s Hut
The Water Goblin’s Hut is not far from Zhelejov. Make your way west of the settlement and follow the road towards the pond. The hut is on the northern side of the pond.
The building is partially submerged. Enter the hut and don’t worry about running into a Water Goblin because this is not a fantasy game. Also, the location is safe from bandits. You don’t need to waste a Saviour Schnapps to save your game. There is no fighting involved. All you need to worry about is losing some lockpicks. Inside the hut, you will find a locked chest with the Easy difficulty.
Unlock the chest to receive:
- 13 Groschen.
- The Water Goblin’s Trousers.
- One Perch.
How to Find the Drowner’s Map
Make your way towards the southern side of the pond to reach the Bathing Spot.
You will find the two treasure hunters dead in the water. Loot their bodies for a few Groschen and check the sack on the pier to collect the Drowner’s Map. Read the map pointing you in the direction of the treasure. The fastest way to reach it is to return to Zhelejov and head west towards the pond.
Walk along the bank and keep your eyes peeled for a brown pot on the ground. Search it and you will find 125 Groschen. Once you collect the money, you can dispose of the map.
