Crazy Delivery is a mini-game in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii that puts Goro Majima in the shoes of a food delivery boy. It’s somewhat similar to another classic title by SEGA, Crazy Taxi. Let’s see what you must do to fulfill the orders and earn rewards!
How to Unlock and Play Crazy Delivery
To unlock this mini-game, you need to progress to Chapter 2 and complete the sub-story Stay Crazy. After joining the Crazy Eats crew, look for Charlie to start the mini-game. You can find Charlie on Anaconda Boulevard or Aloha Street.
This mini-game requires you to collect food and deliver it to customers while performing all sorts of crazy tricks to score points. Should you complete all the delivery courses, you earn the Crazy Captain trophy achievement.
How to Fulfill Crazy Delivery Orders
First, you must learn how to identify the customers’ orders based on the color of their shirts:
- Yellow shirt customers want 10 burgers.
- Red shirt customers want 10 pizzas.
- Blue shirt customers want 10 sushi boxes.
The foods are found along the course. Don’t forget to grab booster items to improve your score and earn more money. You will meet several customers on a delivery course. A glowing circle around them means you have enough items to fulfill their order. You can serve each customer once.
Each location has four types of courses with increasing difficulty. To unlock a new course, you must achieve a C rank on your previous course. The reward depends on the difficulty of the course.
How to Perform Tricks and Score Points
You can finish a course without doing tricks. If you want to earn more points, tricks are a must. These moves are not just to show off your skills. They allow you to grab items that may be out of reach. Also, they improve your timing, as you can avoid obstacles and getting stuck in traffic.
There are all sorts of tricks – such as wheelies and drifts – you can perform. Doing several tricks in a row results in a combo. If you want to maximize the rewards, you should aim to perform as many combos as possible. This is how you impress customers and earn tips.
Each time you do a trick, you fill the Crazy meter. Once the gauge is full, you can trigger Crazy mode to go at higher speeds. After a successful run, you receive a performance-based score and points that allow you to unlock rewards at Charlie’s store.
Crazy Delivery Rewards
As you complete courses, you improve your Deliverist rank. Once you reach Platinum, the highest rank, Charlie agrees to become a crew member. The Silver Treasure chest containing the Jungle Stone is the most expensive item you can buy with delivery points. Other rewards include Toru Higashi as a crew member, clothing, accessories, Sonic music tracks, consumables, and money.
