The Last Cask is an Octopath Traveler 0 side story that requires you to help a liquor maker. Your task is to find someone willing to buy his last barrel of fine brandy.

How to Start and Complete The Last Cask Side Story in Octopath Traveler 0
After completing the Master of Wealth Chapter 1 main quest, check out the map and you’ll see a new side story available in Valore.
Travel to Valore and head towards the Main Boulevard. Head north and make a right to find the NPC who starts the Octopath Traveler 0 The Last Cask side quest. Interact with him and learn that he is a brandy maker forced into retirement and looking to clear his stock.
Where to Find a Buyer for the Brandy in Octopath Traveler 0
Theatropolis in the Flatlands region is where you need to go. If you haven’t unlocked fast travel, leave Valore and head north towards Valore Trail. Reach the Emberglow Wilds and make your way to the Theatropolis Plains.
Enter the tavern and find the potential buyer, the Liquor Connoisseur, sitting at a table. Use the Inquire path action, followed by the Hire path action to make him a helper.
It costs 170 Leaves (or 120 Leaves with the Haggle discount) to Hire the Liquor Connoisseur. Don’t worry about the money. You will receive a generous reward to make up for your trouble. Once the Liquor Connoisseur is hired, return to the distiller in Valore and watch the interaction between the noble and the brandy distiller. As a reward for completing The Last Cask side quest, you will receive 1500 Leaves and a Wealth boost.
