Unlocking the Psychic Visor in Metroid Prime 4 Beyond
During your journey to the Trial Chamber in the Chrono Tower, you will be able to upgrade your regular visor to the Psychic Visor. There will be a boss you have to defeat but if you continue along, you’ll eventually get your hands on the Psychic Crystal.
You might be thinking; what does the Psychic Cystal have to do with the Psychic Visor? Well, it’s this item that is going to be able to turn your visor into the Psychic visor which gives Samus some useful abilities.
It’s impossible to miss so this is one upgrade that you will definitely get during your gameplay. So, essentially, story related and unmissable.
The 411 on the Visor
The Psychic Visor is a very useful item for Samus. Basically, the Visor will let you scan and interact with not only tech created by Lamorn, but also objects that are psychic infused. To be able to use the visor, you need to press the required button, in this case, the X button, which will open it for you.
Once you equip it, the visor grants you two main Psychic abilities. These include the Psychic Glove and the Psychic Charge Beam.
- The Psychic Glove lets Samus focus and manipulate Psychic Motes.
- The Psychic Charge Beam is a control beam that is especially useful during fights. It can freeze fast enemies and hit multiple targets simultaneously.
