One of the mini bosses in Metroid Prime 4 Beyond is Behemoth, which you encounter at the Expansion Site in the Flare Pool. This is one mini-boss you have to fight because Behemoth has the mech part needed to disable the Chrono Tower force field. Without it, you’ll have no hope of bringing it down.

Fighting Behemoth in Metroid Prime 4 Beyond

A single glance at Behemoth’s body shows that a hard outer shell completely protects it. Depending on what part of the body you’re shooting at, your hits aren’t going to do much. The only sure-fire way to injure Behemoth is to fire at its four eyes.

Land enough hits on its eyes, and you destroy it. The goal is to destroy all of the eyes, and once you do, the boss will collapse, allowing you to get the reward.

But be warned, Behemoth has some tricky moves you’ll want to watch out for.

Lava Projectiles are something that Benemoth will shoot at you. The best and main way to avoid these attacks is to simply dodge them. Pretty easy once you get the hang of the dodging mechanism.
Charge Attack is when Behemoth will literally charge towards the way. All you have to do is move out of the way, and it’ll hit the wall. Since it is on the slow side, you won’t have any trouble moving out of the way to avoid getting hit by the giant crab-like enemy.
Shockwave is another move Benemoth will launch at you. Basically, it slams its body onto the ground. A shockwave attack will spread out into the entire area. All you need to do is jump, and you’ll avoid it with little to no problem.

Luckily, this mini-boss is pretty easy to defeat once you get your dodging down right!
