Metroid Prime 4 Beyond Sylux - How to Defeat Hover Shuttle Transport Psy-Bots

In Metroid Prime 4 Beyond Samus and her allies will have to fight a mini boss in the Control Room Bridge, over in the Flare Pool. Here you will have to fight some Psy-Bots courtesy of Sylux who is using the Hover Shuttle Transport to attack.

How to Defeat Hover Shuttle Transport in Metroid Prime 4 Beyond – Sylux Psy-Bots

Dealing with the Hover Shuttle Transport in Metroid Prime 4 Beyond

After the shuttle crashes, you need to get to the bridge. It links the two sections of the Flare Pool complex together but don’t think it’s going to get easy. The shuttle itself is going to destroy the exit on the other side.

Samus and her friends are now stuck but you need to shift right into battle mode. Shoot at the shuttle with rockets. Eventually, you will destroy the door, and the boss will send out some enemy drones towards them. These are Psy-Bots

Keep in mind that the shuttle does come with it’s own set of impressive moves. Here is a brief list:

The Psy Bots are easy to defeat and more of a nuisance than anything. You encounter them in the beginning of the fight.
The shuttle is also capable of firing out random missiles that are very slow moving so they are also pretty easy to avoid.
Finally, the purple laser beam is something you will want to avoid too. So be wary of that

Luckily, this is a quick fight once you get the hang of it.

Finishing the Fight – Sylux

Once the shuttle starts getting off the pillars, you need to be on guard.

There aren’t many places to hide with the pillars gone so Samus won’t have many places to duck behind to escape the enemy fire. The best thing to do, other than avoiding the attacks of course, is to shoot with rockets.

Eventually, you will gain the upper hand and defeat Hover Shuttle Transport Boss in Metroid Prime 4 Beyond. Okay, it’s more that the boss escapes but that still counts as a win! We will encounter Sylux again later..
