This Octopath Traveler 0 Ship guide shows you how to get a vessel and sail the waters of Orsterra. To unlock the ship, you must complete The Queen Orsa side quest. However, there’s a price to pay and it’s not cheap.

How to Complete The Queen Orsa Side Quest and Get an Octopath Traveler 0 Ship for Free
The Queen Orsa side quest becomes available when you start the Master of All main quest. So, complete the three Master of Wealth/Power/Fame main quests and unlock the Finale quest. The Master of All main quest begins after you complete the Finale.
Make your way to Rippletide and find Marjim on the docks. Interact with him to begin The Queen Orsa side story. Marjim tells you that his ship, Queen Orsa, is damaged and the repair costs 80000. If you want to unlock the Octopath Traveler 0 Ship right away, pay the hefty sum and the ship is yours. If you want to get it for free, you must find someone who can repair the ship.
How to Repair the Ship in Octopath Traveler 0 for Free
The recommended level for The Queen Orsa side quest is 25. The side quest does not have combat, but you might run into enemies when traveling to Cragspear. Before leaving Rippletide, go see the Sailor in the tavern. He tells you about a shipwright apprentice who lives in Emberglow. That’s your first destination.
After arriving in Emberglow, go right and take the stairs between the weapon shop and the inn. Make a left and you will find the Skilled Shipwright. Interact with him and use the Recruit action. The success of this action depends on your Fame level, however, the skill check does not have high requirements. You can also Entreat him for a Fortifying Nut. Return to Marjim in Rippletide to complete the first part of the quest. The second part requires you to find a crew for the Octopath Traveler 0 Ship.
How to Find a Crew for The Queen Orsa
Marjim refuses to join you, so you must find someone else. Talk to the NPC near the dock to learn about Chiara. Your next destination is Cragspear. From Valore, make your way west and cross the forest towards Cragspear pass. Go southeast to reach the town of Cragspear. The quest marker directs you to the upper side of the settlement, where you will find Chiara.
You need to pass a Wealth skill check to Hire her. Once she joins you, return to Marjim in Rippletide to complete the quest and obtain the Octopath Traveler 0 Ship for free. Don’t forget to invite both Chiara and Marjim to become Wishvale residents!
