To get an NPC to move to Wishvale, you must use the Invite path action. Start by using Inquire to learn more about them. If the NPC is willing to relocate to Wishvale, the Invite path action becomes available. Just like other path actions, the Invite action has a chance of success based on your Wealth, Power, or Fame level. Most NPCs will freely accept the invitation, however, others will require an item before moving in.

Octopath Traveler 0 Wishvale Residents are different from companions. Residents are not playable characters. You cannot place them into your group. Each resident has a skill. This is a passive ability that becomes active when the resident is assigned to a building.
