Pathologic 3 Rubin – How to Prevent Rubin From Dying

Rubin is no use to you dead. On Day 3, you must defend him against some bandits. On Day 4, you need to get to him before he dies.

How to Save Rubin on Day 3 – Fugitive Thought

On Day 3, Daniil must find Rubin’s Hideout in the Warehouse district. There’s a riot in the area, so things might get messy. The agitators will attack you on sight. Keep in mind that you can threaten the rioters by pointing the gun at them.

However, refrain from shooting, because you don’t want to waste the bullets. Should you get overwhelmed by the rioters, sacrifice a bullet and shoot in the air to scare them. Don’t waste time in this area. Make your way towards the two bandits that are threatening Rubin and do your best to avoid the others.

Rubin’s Hideout is in the lower side of the district. From the entrance, make a left and go over the tracks. If you see two bandits standing before a door, you are in the right place. Shooting one will cause the other to flee. If he doesn’t run away, shoot him as well. You need both of them gone to talk to Pathologic 3 Rubin. Once they are dealt with, approach the door. How to Save Rubin on Day 4 – Grace’s Vision Thought

On Day 4, interact with Grace at Stillwater and discover that someone was buried alive in the cemetery. That person is none other than Rubin. As soon as Grace’s Vision thought appears in your Mind Map, head to the cemetery. If you don’t get there in time, Pathologic 3 Rubin will die. When you enter the cemetery, turn right and grab the shovel next to the building.

Find Rubin’s grave on the southeastern side of the cemetery. Look for a grave with a bell. If the bell is ringing, Rubin is alive. If the bell doesn’t make any noise, Rubin is already dead. Keep in mind that you can restart the day without losing Amalgam. Use the shovel to free Rubin and find out what he knows about Simon.
