How to Begin the Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Budmo Side Quest

Make your way to the Slag Heap in Garbage. To the right of the NPC aptly named Boozer, you will notice two drunk guys, Misha Boxer and Grisha Wrestler, sitting at a table. Approach them and start the conversation. You can share a drink with them or immediately start the quest.

The two men tell you about their buddy Panas, who has been exposed to severe radiation. They want to help him by placing vodka in his stash, but there’s an issue. They don’t remember which one is his stash, so your job is to deposit vodka in all three stashes. Agree to help and collect the Cossack’s Vodka bottles from the table before leaving. Also, make sure to have some anti-radiation drugs on you, as you might need them later.

Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Budmo Walkthrough

There are three stashes you need to supply with vodka. Each stash has some supplies you can take. If you take the items, the objective for that stash will fail. Should you loot two stashes, Panas will confront you at the third one and you must kill him. If you put vodka in two stashes, he will make an appearance at the third stash.

Power Transmission Pylon Stash

Exit the settlement and make your way east. The stash is near a pylon. Get close to the fallen tree and jump on the plank. The stash is inside the pylon in a bird nest.

Stash Loot:

• HILKA detector.
• Flash artifact.
• Moonlight artifact.

Concrete Blocks Stash

Make your way northeast from the location of the Power Transmission Pylon stash. Go through the Slag Heap and reach the zone with the concrete debris. Notice the well covered by wooden planks. Destroy the planks and find the stash inside.

Stash Loot:

• RNBW 2X scope.
• M10 Gordon SMG.
• Pistol suppressor.

Poisonous Hole Stash

Head northeast from the location of the Concrete Blocks stash. You will come across a ditch with poisonous gas. Take the west slope up and you will see a tunnel entrance. The stash is at the end of the tunnel.

Stash Loot:

• Buket S-2 SMG.
• 20 pistol ammo.
• Grenade.
• Optician Gas Mask.

Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Budmo Encounter With Panas

After you’ve placed vodka in two stashes, you will meet Panas at the third. It doesn’t matter what stashes you visited. Panas is not very happy to see you. You can attack him or try to reason with him by telling his friends sent you. Turns out that vodka does him more harm than good, as it’s anti-radiation drugs he needs, not alcohol preventing him from remaining sober. At this point, you have two options.

Give Anti-Radiation Drugs to Panas

If you help Panas by giving him the medication, he will thank you and offer 1700 Coupons, ending the quest.

Give Vodka to Panas

If you want to give him vodka, place the bottle in the stash. Go back to the Slag Heap bar and tell Misha and Grisha what happened. They will suggest waiting for Panas to get your reward. Leave the bar and return a few days later. Panas is back, but he is not sober. Nevertheless, you still get 1700 Coupons as a reward and the quest ends.
