How to Begin Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Just Business
Go to Rostok and make your way south, where you will find the barkeep. Interact with him to see if he has any job for you. He tells you about a bandit base. Your task is to kill the bandits and find out what happened to the Freedom members that went there to take care of the bandits in the first place.
Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Just Business Walkthrough
Make your way northeast of Rostok and reach the Red Forest. You will come across a Parking Lot with corpses. Enter the building and make a left to find a room. This is where you will find Carl Clinch.
Use a medkit to heal him and listen to what he has to say. Carl tells you that the Freedom group walked into an ambush as they were heading into the tunnel leading to the hideout. He gives you the Red Forest Tunnel Key and directs you to the second floor, where the entrance is.
How to Enter the Bandit Base
Take the stairs up and follow the walkway to reach the door. Unlock it with the key from Carl. Descend using the ladder. There’s a stash here containing some ammo and consumables. Loot it and go into the tunnel. Watch out for the gas clouds and crouch to avoid them.
You will reach a larger cave, where you will find a ladder. Take the ladder up and you will find the hideout entrance guarded by one bandit. If you have a weapon with a silencer, use it to prevent alerting the entire base. Go up the slope and enter the tunnel. Use the ladder to go up. Two bandits are there, but you can rapidly eliminate them. Check their PDAs for info about an artifact nearby and a mutant locked in a container.
How to Clear the Base
Reach the back of the hangar and go into the container. Use the crates to get on the containers. Climb the crates and drop down. The mutant will immediately get out. This is your chance to clear the base without fighting. If you are quick to hide as the mutant breaks out, it will start attacking the bandits. If it notices you, you can kite it to where the bandits are.
After all the bandits are dead, take care of the Pseudogiant. This mutant has lots of HP and combines ranged attacks with ground slams. The reward for killing it is an Electric Collar. If you want the artifact return to the cave with the toxic clouds. Use the detector and find the Urchin Artifact in the cloud in a side passage.
Now, you can go back to Rostok and collect the Sphere M20 Helmet from the bartender as a reward for completing the mission.
