Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Warlock’s Debtor – How To Begin the Quest

You will come across this side task while completing the Behind Seven Seals main quest. So, if you are not there yet just follow the story until you get to that mission. At some point during this main quest, Skif has to speak to a bartender named Warlock to find out more about Solder.

Make your way to the town of Zalissya, where you will find Warlock. Interact with him and select the “Got a decent job?” line to start the Warlock’s Debtor quest. Someone named Valik Lummox owes money to Warlock. Your job is to find Lummox and scare him into paying his debt.

Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Warlock’s Debtor Walkthrough

To find Valik Lummox, you have to travel northwest of Zalissya. Head in that direction until you reach the water tower where Lummox is hiding. There are a few bandits outside, but you don’t have to kill them.

Interact with Dima Dope, the bandit leader. He wants you to talk to Lummox and learn where a certain stash is.

At this point, you have two options:

• Refuse to help Dima Dope.
• Agree to help Dima Dope.

Let’s see what happens in both cases.

Refuse to Help Dima Dope

If you don’t want to help the bandits get the info from Lummox, they become aggressive and you must kill them. Lummox will come out of hiding and agree to pay his debt. Warlock shows his gratitude over the radio and you get your promised share of the debt, about 1000 Coupons. The quest ends.

Agree to Help Dima Dope

Things get more interesting if you side with bandits. Should you want to help Dima, you must find a way to interact with Lummox. He doesn’t want to come out, so you have to talk to him through a hole while the bandits are listening to make sure you don’t betray them.

Go around the right side of Lummox’s hiding place and you will notice a window. Approach it and Lummox will start the dialogue. No matter how you choose to talk to Lummox, he will tell you the location of the stash: the top of the water tower.

Make your way north and avoid the electric anomalies. Use the ladder to get to the top of the water tower. The stash contains an AKM-74S weapon and some ammo. Lummox will radio you, suggesting to use the high ground to kill the bandits.

You have two options:

• Do as Lummox is saying.
• Go back to the bandits and give them the contents of the stash.

Side with Lummox

If you kill the bandits, the quest will end in the same way as if you’ve refused to help them in the same place.

Go Back to the Bandits

If you return to the bandit leader, he will ask for an artifact from the stash. There is no artifact in the stash, so the bandits become hostile and you must kill them.

No matter what choice you make, the bandits die. So, the easiest way is to side with Lummox and kill the bandits from a safe distance, preventing direct combat.
