Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Lost Boys is a side quest that requires you to find out what happened to a group of miners. It is an interesting mission with two endings. Let’s see what you must do to complete it!
Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Lost Boys – How to Begin
The NPC that starts this side quest is in Zalissya. Find Lens and see if he has any tasks for you. He will tell you about a group of missing diggers. Learn more about Mastiff’s Group and start the search.
Leave Lens’ room and follow the blue quest marker. Go through the fields and tunnels and find the small building with the open door.
Stalker 2 Heart Of Chornobyl Lost Boys Walkthrough
Enter and take the stairs down into the bunker. Make sure to use the bolt to bypass the anomalies. Go into the bunker and take two lefts to reach the walkway.
Explore the Bunker
Keep going until you find the corpse and a device near it. Take the device and find out what happened. Follow the main road in the bunker and you will come across a bag and a shotgun lying on the ground. Take the fuse inside the bag and collect the other consumables. Enter the room to the left where you found the bag. Put the fuse in the fuse box and get out, resuming your trek on the main bunker route.
When you reach the room with the electric anomalies, use the bolt to deactivate them and go into the room with the rats. Get rid of them and notice the NPC in the room. Use a medkit on him.
Max Saturday will tell you that a Monolith member killed the squad and kidnapped Mastiff. He will mark a new quest location on the map.
The quest takes you outside of the bunker, but there’s one more room you can loot before leaving this place. Go to the bunker entrance and notice the open door near the first corpse. Enter the room and collect the Aurora Gas Mask, ammo, and consumables.
Now, return to the area where you found Max. Climb the stairs and use the lever to open the door leading outside.
Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Lost Boys – Finding Mastiff
Make your way southeast of the bunker and find the forest house. As you attempt to enter it, several Blind Dogs will attack you. Defeat them and go to the shed behind the house. Break the lock with the knife and go inside. Enter the tunnel through the cave entrance and reach the house. You will emerge in a room where you find Mastiff on the bed. He is wounded.
Climb the ladder in the room to reach the attic where the Monolithian is waiting for you. Talk to the Monolithian and learn his name, The Ninth. He will say that a mutant is responsible for the miners’ deaths and he helped Mastiff by saving him.
Tell him you will help and go outside, where you will find a group of people who came there for The Ninth.
You now have three choices:
- Side with Dew.
- Side with The Ninth.
- Remain neutral.
Siding with The Ninth
The Ninth is clearly the villain here. If you side with him, you will have to kill Dew and leave Mastiff with The Ninth. The reward for siding with him is the Rubber Layer Blueprint.
Siding with Dew
If you side with Dew, you will have to kill the Monolithian. After killing The Ninth, a quick listen to the info on his PDA will strengthen your belief that you made the correct moral choice.
Remain Neutral
If you don’t take any action, Dew will go into the building after The Ninth.
No matter what choice you made, go back to Lens to receive your reward:
- 625 Coupons if you helped The Ninth.
- 1250 Coupons if you took down The Ninth.
