STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl – Dangerous Visitors Side Quest

STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl Dangerous Visitors is the first side quest mission you can complete once you finish the introductory chapter. It involves heading to Zalissya and rescuing Gloomy, who has been captured. Let’s see what you need to do to complete it!

STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl Dangerous Visitors – How to Begin the Quest

First, make sure that you have completed the There and Back Again main quest. Your next objective is to go to the town of Zalissya. Start making your way north towards the town. Walk until you encounter several bandits shooting at a house.

Defeat them and enter the house. Don’t forget to loot the bandits for ammo and HP consumables. Zhorik is the NPC you will find inside the house. Interact with him and learn that his buddy, Gloomy, was captured. Choose the “I’ll do it” dialogue line to agree to rescue Gloomy and start the quest.

Being the first side mission, you get a little help before starting the rescue operation. As soon as you take the quest, the location of Zhorik’s Stash appears on the map. Start walking north until you see a crashed helicopter.

Enter it and find the safe on the right. The stash is inside. Loot it to receive an SMG, ammo, and various consumables. Now, you can go outside and resume the quest objective.

Finding Gloomy

From the stash location, head north to reach the Boiler House. When you get close to this objective, crouch and search for the opening on the outside perimeter. Enter the area using the forklifts and crates to hide.

To rescue Gloomy, you have to kill the group of bandits outside. Use the weapon from the stash to kill them fast. You can opt for a stealthy approach or you can gun them down. Dispose of the bandits in any way you like and enter the warehouse. Go up using the stairs on the left. Climb to the upper floor, where you will find Gloomy.

Talk to Gloomy

Interact with Gloomy and find out why he was being held captive. He will ask who sent you to rescue him, but no matter the answer, he will tell you the truth about his imprisonment.

Gloomy will give an Echo Detector and direct you to a nearby cave. The mission will end and you will receive about 1000 Coupons as a reward. Make sure to loot the room before heading to the cave Gloomy told you about. This is not part of the quest, but it’s a good opportunity to grab some more loot.
