The Silent Hill 2 Remake Brookhaven Hospital Puzzle is the main brain-teaser challenge in this area. You cannot advance without solving it. It is one of the most challenging game puzzles. It involves finding all three (3) of the bracelets and then placing them in the correct order to receive the Director’s Storage Room Key.

The Three Bracelets

First of all, you need to collect the three bracelets as you explore the Brookhaven Hospital.

These bracelets are found throughout the hospital. In various different locations. These are mandatory as you will not be able to solve the puzzle and progress through Silent Hill 2 Remake without them. These include the Marked Bracelet, Filthy Bracelet and the Bloodstained Bracelet

Here is a quick summary of where they are located;

• The Marked Bracelet is near the Medical Records Room.
• The Filthy Bracelet is in D1 and you have to solve the Radiography puzzle to unlock the safe with this bracelet.
• The Bloodstained Bracelet is at the bottom of the Pool.

How to Get the Director’s Storage Room Key

After acquiring the three Bracelets, make your way to the Director’s Office. Go near the desk and notice the arm. The puzzle will start. The goal is to line up the Bloodstained Bracelet, the Marked Bracelet, and the Filthy Bracelet with the marks on the arm.

Place the Bloodstained Bracelet on top. The Marked Bracelet should be in the middle. The Filthy Bracelet goes in the bottom slot. Now, you have to twist them in order to achieve the correct alignment.

Examine the wrist and notice the cracked paint. Twist the bracelets until the legible section is in the same spot as the faded paint. The numbers 92, 45, and 71 will appear. You can now collect the Director’s Storage Room Key from the, now, open hand.

Silent Hill 2 Remake Brookhaven Hospital Puzzle – How to Get the Rooftop Key

Enter this room and look for the Safe Button. It will be on the opposite side of the Director’s Office. Now, notice the bookshelf on the wall. The books are not in the correct order.

You need to line them up so that the animal image corresponds to the sign on the book. Now, you need to put the bracelet numbers in the Director’s Safe. From top to bottom, input these symbols.

• Triangle with inside and outside circles.
• Lowercase h letter crossed by a line.
• Male symbol.
• Circle with a dot.
• Female symbol with the arc.
• Circle with a center line.

The safe will open and you can collect the Rooftop Key. You can now go to the Rooftop. The puzzle challenge is over, but a combat trial awaits you.

The Pyramid Head makes another appearance, but you don’t have to fight him. He will throw you through the floor and you will end up opposite Laura’s location. Make your way down the hall and prepare for a boss fight.
