The Silent Hill 2 Remake Wood Side Apartments Puzzle or the Coin Puzzle is the main riddle in this area. You come across this puzzle in the Reception Room just as you start this chapter. Your goal is to find all three (3) coins in the Wood Side Apartments then solve the various riddles
Silent Hill 2 Remake Wood Side Apartments Puzzle – Coin Locations
To solve this puzzle, you must collect three coins scattered all over the place. Don’t forget to pick up any HP drink and ammo you come across while searching for the coins.
Where to Find the Man Coin
Go to Apartment 108 and interact with the wardrobe to acquire the Golden Apple Handle. After you get this item, make your way to the second floor. Enter Apartment 208 and find the wardrobe where you can place the Apple Handle. You can now move the wardrobe and enter the passageway that leads to Apartment 206. Here, you will find another puzzle. The combination to open the safe is 13 right, 7 left, and 11 right. If you hear a click sound, you know you have entered the correct number. You will obtain the Man Coin and a Steel Key.
Where to Find the Woman Coin
You need the 2F Small Staircase Key to get the Woman Coin. Once you have the key, head to Apartment 213 and use the key to unlock the door next to it. Go to Apartment 310 on the third floor. Reach Apartment 312 through the balcony. Look around for the small passage with the blood stain. Enter it and pick up the Canned Juice. Throw the can in the trash chute causing the debris to fall in the Courtyard. Go to the Courtyard and retrieve the Woman Coin from the ground.
Where to Find the Snake Coin
Go to Apartment 116 after you have collected the Woman Coin. Watch the cutscene and jump out of the window. Beware, as several Lying Figures are waiting for you. Defeat them in any way you can. Search the stroller to find the Snake Coin.
How to Solve the Silent Hill 2 Remake Wood Side Apartments Riddles Puzzle
Once you have all three (3) coins from the Wood Side Apartments, go back to the Coin Box in the Reception area. You must solve four riddles.
First Riddle Solution:
- Flower on the right.
- Man on the left.
- Woman in the middle.
Second Riddle Solution:
- Flower on the right.
- Sword in the fourth place from the right.
- Woman in the second place from the right.
Third Riddle Solution:
- Snake on the right.
- Man in the middle.
- Gravestone in the second place from the right.
Fourth Riddle Solution:
- Snake at the top.
The reward for solving the Coin Puzzle is the key to Apartment 201. Use it in the locked door and trigger the last cutscene in the Wood Side Apartments.
