The Blood of Dawnwalker Home Sweet Home is a side quest during which Coen gets trapped in a dream loop. You can break the dream sequence and return to your usual activities or you can stay in the loop to unlock a secret ending and the Together Forever trophy/achievement. Let’s see what you must do to break the loop and get the trophy!

How to Complete The Blood of Dawnwalker Home Sweet Home Side Quest

The Home Sweet Home quest automatically starts when you enter the Silts Tower.

Make your way to the tower and go to the top, defeating the enemies on the way. Once you reach the top floor, inspect the door and open it to trigger the quest. Notice that the quest takes four time units. Make sure to save your game before beginning the quest. The combat encounters are quite challenging. If the enemies are too strong for your level, reload the game and return when Coen becomes more powerful.

How to Unlock The Blood of Dawnwalker Together Forever Ending

The first part of the quest takes you back to the beginning of the game. Enter the house to assist at the dinner scene. Feel free to chop wood and pick any dialogue lines you like during the conversation with Esme. The next part of the quest requires you to save your family. Follow the quest marker and defeat the enemies. The last fight will be against the Keeper of Nightmares mini-boss.

The dialogues have no impact, so don’t worry about that. Get to the church and witness what happens next. After the church scene, you return to the beginning of The Blood of Dawnwalker Home Sweet Home and the dream loop begins. You now have two options: repeat the sequence and unlock the Together Forever secret ending and trophy, or escape the loop. Go through the dream sequence again, but this time save your game after saving your siblings. Repeat the loop four times. At the beginning of the fifth run, you will unlock the Together Forever trophy/achievement and ending.

How to Escape the Home Sweet Home Dream Loop

After unlocking the achievement, reload the game using the save file you made after fighting the monsters that threaten your siblings. To escape the dream loop, you mustn’t continue towards the Keeper of Nightmares fight. Instead, inspect the well and choose the “Alin” dialogue option. Doing this will break The Blood of Dawnwalker Home Sweet Home loop and allow you to return to the normal timeline.

After the cutscene, use your shadowstep ability to climb the wall and enter the cave. Go through the cave, following the quest marker. Eventually, you will find yourself at the church. You must assist the priest by interacting with:

• Alin – the coffin.
• Esme – the ghost to the right of the coffin.
• Coen – the ghost sitting on the bench.

Leave the church and follow the forest path to reach the hideout.

Interact with the swing and the tree stump.

After the cutscene, follow the quest marker and use the clawride ability to reach the bottom of the cliff. After the cutscene, you will wake up at the Silts Tower. Don’t forget to loot the Astrologer’s Ring after the Home Sweet Home quest ends.
