How to Unlock The First Berserker: Khazan True Ending
The five requirements needed to unlock the true/secret ending are:
- Complete all the side quests.
- Unlock Ozma’s Past trophy.
- Choose a particular dialogue option during the Master of Chaos main quest.
- Defeat Ozma.
- Watch the final cutscene.
Complete All the Bonus Missions
Bonus missions unlock after you complete the main quests. Return to the main hub after finishing all the main objectives to see which side quests are available. There are no hidden bonus missions, so you don’t need to worry about missing any of them. These optional tasks become mandatory for unlocking the true game ending. Several bonus missions have associated trophies and completing them all will unlock the Countless Tales trophy.
Unlock Ozma’s Past Trophy
This trophy requires you to find all the 15 Golden Collectibles. You will find them during main and bonus missions. Some collectibles are easy to find, but others hide in secret or hard-to-reach locations.
Choose the Right Dialogue Option
Should the above conditions be met, during the last main quest, Master of Chaos, you will have a third dialogue option when speaking with Daphrona.
Choose “I must know the truth” before proceeding with the quest.
Defeat Ozma
The fight against Ozma will have three phases instead of two, an indication that you are on the right track to the true ending. After the fight, you will find yourself in a room where you can interact with objects that show the past. One of these objects is a diary.
Reading the diary might cause a bug that prevents you from getting the achievement. So, it’s best if you avoid reading the entries in the diary.
Watch the Final Cutscene and Witness The First Berserker: Khazan True Ending
The credits will roll as the final cutscene starts playing and the Blade Phantom explains what really happened.
The game will end shortly after and you will see the achievement pop up.
