(BG3) Baldur’s Gate 3 – All Astarion Character Dialogue / Outcomes (Character Introduction)

Baldur's Gate III Uncategorized Video Game Character Quotes

This page will be mainly focusing on the various companion character dialogue that occurs during the Astarion Character Introduction scene

The dialogue will include everything that is presented as a dialogue option, this also includes dialogue that occurs when you fail and win a die/dice roll too.

The page is currently done with only the Early Access currently being available, thus everything is subject to change. I will however, change this page to properly match the dialogue scene when the full version is released. For now enjoy what is said during the particular Early Access patch.

Anyway let us begin!

(NOTE: This was all taken from the Early Access phase of the game)

You can check out my other pages on the various companion and party dialogue below

INTRODUCTION 1

ASTARION:

What was that? What’s going on?

PLAYER CHARACTER:

I don’t know, but something just connected us.

ASTARION:

  • It’s those tentacle monsters. Whatever they did to us caused that link.
  • They took you too, I saw it during.. whatever just happened.
  • And to think I was ready to decorate the ground with your innards. Appologies.

PLAYER CHARACTER:

Apology accepted. I might of done the same were the roles reversed.

ASTARION:

  • Ah, a kindred spirit.
  • My name’s Astarion. I was in Baldur’s Gate when those beasts snatched me.

PLAYER CHARACTER:

(BALDURIAN) Introduce yourself – you are a Baldurian too.

ASTARION:

  • Is that so? We clearly move in different circles.
  • So do you know anything about these worms?
  • PLAYER CHARACTER:
  • Yes, unfortunately. They’ll turn us into mind flayers.

ASTARION:

  • Turn us into – ha. Hahaha!
  • Of course it’ll turn me into a monster. What else did I expect?
  • Although it hasn’t happened yet. If we can find an expert – someone that can control these things – there might still be time.

PLAYER CHARACTER:

You should travel with me. Our odds are better together.

ASTARION:

  • You know, I was ready to go this alone, but maybe sticking with the herd isn’t such a bad idea.
  • And you seem like a useful person to know
  • All right, I accept. Lead on.

(Astarion joins the party)

INTRODUCTION 2

ASTARION:

  • Ah! Damn it!
  • I saw into your mind. They took you, just the same as me.
  • And to think I was ready to decorate the ground with your innards. Appologies.

INTRODUCTION 3

ASTARION:

  • Ah! Damn it!
  • I saw into your mind. They took you, just the same as me.
  • And to think I was ready to decorate the ground with your innards. Appologies.

PLAYER CHARACTER:

You’d better have more to offer than ‘appolgies’

ASTARION:

  • I’m out of wine and flowers, so I hope an introduction will suffice.
  • My name’s Astarion. I was in Baldur’s Gate when those beasts snatched me.
  • PLAYER CHARACTER:

Nods

ASTARION:

  • The strong and silent type? All right.
  • Please tell me you at least know something about these worms

PLAYER CHARACTER:

You know as much as I do

ASTARION:

  • I suppose it’s not exactly common knowledge
  • These worms are already affecting me. I can feel it. Now what to do about it

PLAYER CHARACTER:

Do what you want. I’m leaving

ASTARION:

  • No words of wisdom before you go?
  • These worms are doing something to us. What are you going to do?

PLAYER CHARACTER:

I’ll figure out my problems, you figure out yours

ASTARION:

  • Of course. I’ll make my own way
  • Well, maybe I’ll see you again. Still wearing the same skin, I hope

(Astarion does not join the party)
