AION 2 Old Gear will inevitably start taking up inventory space. The Cube’s capacity is limited, so you’ll have to find a way to make room for new items. Let’s see what you can do with old gear!
How to Use AION 2 Old Gear
You have several ways to get the most out of old equipment:
- Convert it into upgrade materials and skins through extraction.
- Transfer its enhancement level to another item.
- Use it for Abyss Supply Requests.
- Sell it.
How to Repurpose Old Gear
You can simply delete an item, but you should explore these options before destroying it.
Item Extraction
Gear extraction is a process that allows you to break weapons, armor, and accessories you no longer need into enhance stones and skins. Enhance stones are used as equipment upgrade materials. Skins are cosmetic items that change the gear’s appearance. You can use the item extraction function straight from your Cube. Open the inventory and notice the potion icon at the bottom. Choose the item you want to dismantle and press confirm. You cannot select equipped items, so don’t worry about losing your current equipment. Item extraction consumes Kina. You can see the cost in the Item Extraction UI.
Transfer Enhancement Level
This method allows you to transfer the enhancement level and soul binding effects from an item to another. The old item will be lost in the process. You will also need transfer stones, which can be quite expensive. Use this method only if you have an extremely valuable item with many enhancements.
Abyss Supply Requests
The Abyss Supply Requests is a game feature through which you can exchange various items, including AION 2 Old Gear, for rewards. Make sure to check the Supply Requests menu every day for daily Emergency requests. Completing these deliveries is a great way to obtain Abyss points.
Sell Old Gear to Vendors or Other Players
You can sell items to any vendor. The map marker allows you to quickly locate an NPC vendor. The auction house is a premium feature available only to level 45 Special Quai Membership subscribers.
