Assassins Creed Shadows – The Corrupt Daikan Side Quest

The Corrupt Daikan is an Assassins Creed Shadows side quest that requires you to take down six targets. Let’s see what you must do to help the People of Omi!

How to Start The Corrupt Daikan

Progress through the story campaign until you unlock Yasuke. After you complete the main quest En Education, Kuma of the People of Omi will tell you about Lady Oichi and reveal information about this side quest. Continue with the main missions until you complete The Price of Rice and unlock all the Daikan targets.

You might find the Daikan by accident, but you cannot complete the quest unless you talk to Kuma. This side quest requires you to kill six corrupt nobles.

The Corrupt Daikan Walkthrough

Each one of the six targets has an associated quest:

• The Sword Hunter.
• The Hoarder.
• The Hedonist.
• The Soiled Merchant.
• The Concubine.
• The Connoisseur.

Where to Find the Six Daikan

The Sword Hunter

This target is in Nomura Village. You will find the settlement on the southwestern side of Ibu Highlands. Go to the village and make your way to the courtyard, where you will find the target. You can easily perform an aerial kill by swinging from the tree using the grappling hook.

The Hoarder

You need to complete the Price of Rice main mission to see this target on the circle. The Hoarder is in the same place as The Wheel. Follow the main quest The Mourner and you will reach the Hongonji Temple. You will find the target outside the temple.

The Hedonist

This target is in the Ado River Valley. From Omizo Castle, travel north to reach the settlement that surrounds the castle. The Hedonist is in a hut. The best approach is to find the hole in the back of the building and crawl inside.

The Soiled Merchant

Go to the northwestern area of the Mouth of Seta to discover the Otsu Lower District. The estate where the target lives is in the southwestern area of the district.

The Concubine

Make your way to Yamashiro in Kyoto. Your target is in the southern area of the city. Unfortunately, you cannot use a stealth approach to reach her, as several guards are nearby. You have no other option than to directly confront The Concubine and her bodyguards.

The Connoisseur

Travel to the northernmost area of Sotomo Gate to reach Kanagasaki Castle, where The Connoisseur lives. You can enter the castle and fight all the enemies inside, however, keep in mind that you will have to deal with many level 41 enemies. The alternative is to play as Naoe and enter the northern courtyard by climbing the outside wall to easily reach the target and avoid fighting.

How to Complete The Corrupt Daikan

Once all the targets are dead, return to Kuma at his Lookout in the Shimmering Fields to end the quest.

The rewards include:

• Gold.
• Legendary Amulet Minogame’s Protection.
• Legendary Engraving Damage for Empty Armor Pieces.
