Another Nevron side quest that can be completed during Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is from Hexga. Hexga’s quest will have you finding some glowing crystals and bringing them back to the Nevron. If you want to learn how to complete this quest, read on!
Finding Hexga in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
The first step is to find Hexga otherwise you can’t even start the quest! Hexga is located within the Stone Wave Cliffs area. It’s located by Tide Caverns. There is an expedition flag literally called Tide Caverns. If you have already been through the area, fast travel there and then turn around and make your way out of the cavern You’ll find Hexga.
But assuming this is your first time in Stone Wave Cliffs, you’ll have to make your way down there first. During your search of this area you will come across the Expedition 56 flag Old Farm
Starting at the flag, follow the path and you’ll want to walk towards the lamps. Go up the path and then take a sharp left. Continue following the path and finally in the distance you’ll see this large, white rock formation. To get there you need to use the conveniently placed handholds to go across.
This is Hexga. Talk with them and they will want you to bring them three glowing crystals, which can be found in a cavern nearby.
Finding the Crystals For Hexga’s Quest
Go into the cavern, past the expedition flag. You’ll have to grapple across and then find a rope to slide down. The first crystal is impossible to miss (as pictured above). Strike the crystal and collect the Rock Crystal after it has been broken. There might be an enemy near there so keep that in mind.
From the first crystal, you’ll find a slope. Head up the slope and turn towards the right. This is where the second rock crystal will be.
The third and final rock can be found near another rope but you don’t need to go down it. To reach this last crystal, stand at where you got the second and turn a bit to the left. There should be a ledge on the far left corner. Jump down to find the crystal.
Finishing the Quest
With the three crystals in hand, head out back to Hexga. In return for helping Hexga, they will be given an Auto Shell. The Auto shell pictos grants shell status for 3 turns at the start of a battle.
At this point you can walk away since the quest is done or attakc Hexga. Rewards include 1264 chroma, 3150 ex, 3 color of lumina, and 1 polished Chroma Catalyst. Keep in mind they have an attack where you need to learn a specific type of dodge to avoid the attack. Should you go forward with the battle, consider using ice attacks.
