In Clair Obscur Expedition 33 there are several optional and required bosses you can fight, one of them being the Chromatic Luster. It’s is optional so it’s completely your choice to fight. Read on to learn where to find it and how to defeat it!
How to Find the Chromatic Luster in Clair Obscur
The first step is to find the Forgotten Battlefield. This one is west of the Boat Graveyard and southwest of the Blades Graveyard. The main story will also, eventually, lead you here. After you’ve entered the Forgotten Battlefield, the next step is to track down the Chromatic Luster.
Once you find the Battlefield Vanguard rest point, keep going and nearby you’ll see the Fading Woman, a ghostly lady. Turn right and follow the trenches which is where you’ll find the Chromatic Luster.
How to Defeat the Chromatic Luster In Expedition 33
One thing to know about the Chromatic Luster in Clair Obscur is that it is weak to Lightning attacks. Lune is perfect for this because she has several lightning moves to use against the enemy. However, you’ll want to avoid fire attacks because this is a fire-based boss. Make sure to be able to remove burn because the boss can use it to heal itself!
The moves are as follows:
- Fast combo see’s the Chromatic Luster performing a fast combo so counter and dodge accordingly.
- Fury Unleashed is a move where the Chromatic Luster will literally unleash it’s fiery fury.
- Fire Explosion is a move that is pretty self-explanatory. It sees the boss charging and unleashing a fire explosion.
The better you parry, the better this fight will go in your favor.
If all goes well you will succeed in defeating this boss and get some great rewards. The rewards are a level 9 Lusteon Weapon for Sciel, a level 9 energizing Parry Pictos, 2 polished Chroma Catalyst, and 5x Color of Lumina.
The biggest thing to remember is don’t use fire based moves and make sure you heal your burns.
