In Clair Obscur Expedition 33 there is no shortage of bosses to fight! The Dualliste is a boss you have to fight during Act 2. You will first encounter Dualliste during your trip to the Forgotten Battlefield. Where you can also encounter the optional boss, Chromatic Luster
How to Find Dualliste in Clair Obscur
Dualliste can be found in two different places. The first encounter comes as part of the main story, during your exploration of the Forgotten Battlefield. Once you reach the Fading Woman, go into the gate behind her. Then follow the pain path and once you arrive at an ancient bridge checkpoint, cross it once activating it.
The other two places it can be found, which are optional, is inside the Flying Manor as one of the bosses as well as The Endless Tower. In the endless tower they are an enemy for Stage 1, Trial 3 and Stage 11, trial 1.
How to Beat Dualliste in Expedition 33
Let’s start off by saying that you want to focus on one of Dualiste’s books that sees you having to jump mid attack. Try your best to counter it otherwise your parry will be affected. Then there is the burst attack which is frustrating because it can stun your party! Dodge accordingly.
It’s best to use light based moves to attack Dualliste. Lune has some light moves, but physical attacks will work. Best to avoid dark and fire moves.
During phase two it will inflict inverted which reverses the effects of healing, resulting in unexpected damage. Keep this in mind because healing will knock your HP down.
This is a list of moves you can expect from Dualliste in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
- Swipe Combo, which is, as amply named, a swiping combo
- Sword Slash combo with one sword is a combo that has a slow first attack with three consecutive strikes.
- Swift slashes with one sword A swift attack with two attacks follow by one last hit.
- Sword burst sees the boss striking his sword on the ground. During the second phase it hits twice.
- Slash combo with two swords is a combo but with two swords!
- Swift Slashes with two swords is a swift attack with an initial attack and several to follow. Dodge and counter accordingly.
- Stormblood has three different attacks followed by one final hit.
After beating this boss, Verso gets a new weapon called Dualiso along with some other rewards but let’s admit that the sword is the best reward!
