Ghost of Yotei Bamboo – All Bamboo Strike Locations

Ghost of Yotei has a returning mini game called Bamboo Strikes. Your goal is to memorize the button order and then press them, according to the correct order. By succeeding in this Ghost Of Yotei Bamboo Strike mini game, Atsu will increase her Spirit Circles!

List of Bamboo Strike Locations in Ghost of Yotei

There are a total of 15 Bamboo Strike locations and by finding all of them, you’ve gotten one of the requirements for the Body, Mind, and Spirit Trophy! Two of them are found during the story whilst the others can be found during your exploration.

1. The Way of Dual Katana Bamboo Strike

This bamboo strike is completed during the Main Tale: The way of the Dual Katana. (Story Related)

2. The Oni Bamboo Strike

Similar to the first bamboo strike which is completed during the game play, this one is completed during the Main Tale: The Oni. (Story Related)

3. Home Bamboo Strike

At your home by the cliffs, rebuild the broken bamboo strike across from your father’s forge. It’s hidden under the “Home” map marker and has no icon.

4. Nupur River Bamboo Strike In Ghost Of Yotei

If you head upstream, you’ll reach the Maw of the Serpent. Go left and keep going until you get close to the Crow’s Nest Watchtower.

5. Yotei River Bamboo Strike Location In Ghost Of Yotei

Heading north of the river, you’ll find this location on a hill near white trees.

6. Urara Bamboo Strike Location In Ghost Of Yotei

Go east of Ishikari Fork into the forest. You’ll find Oni’s Breath Inn and to the right is the bamboo strike.

7. Rumoi Bamboo Strike Location In Ghost Of Yotei

This bamboo strike will be found on a hill north of Ishikari Plain.

8. Huranui’s Rest Inn Bamboo Strike Location In Ghost Of Yotei

This one’s unmarked on the map, found left of Huranui’s Rest Inn near a few ronin.

9. Misty Valley Bamboo Strike

To access this one, you need to do Mythic Tale: The Spider Lily General. At the south of Shizaunai Woods, approach the Mysterious Gate. Go left to find a maze and follow the paths with red spider lilies three times to reveal the Bamboo Strike.

10. Niikappu’s Fork Bamboo Strike

Go Northwest of Huranui’s Rest Inn and then go south of the Twin Ponds of Hidaka. This is where you’ll find the Bamboo strike. It’s on a hill.

11. Sakuru Bamboo Strike

Found in Tensho Ridge, go north of the Sakuru Woods and then up a mountain. By following the Golden bird, you’ll reach the bamboo strike.

12. Hakodake Bamboo Strike

This bamboo strike is to the east of the Hakodake mountains. It’s by a hut on a cliff.

13. Sarobetsu Bamboo Strike

Go to Sarobetsu Lake and find an Inn by an ice lake. Then go northeast to find this bamboo strike.

14. Atago Bamboo Strike

On Oshima Coast, move away from the weapons near the Bamboo Strike or lightning will strike you.

15. Matsumae Bamboo Strike

Found in the south Oshima Coast, past Atago Rice Fields. Enter Castle Matsumae’s village. Right of the blossom path courtyard is the Bamboo Strike, done with your left hand.

And with that you’ve found all the Bamboo strikes and made successful strides towards the Body, Mind, and Spirit Trophy Achievement! All that remains are Shrine Climbs and Hot Springs
