Greedfall 2 A Dying World Thick Oil - How to Solve the Lever Puzzle

In GreedFall 2, by the time you have been rescued from the prison, you’ve been through it. Your character has been kidnapped, taken to a new country, and lost a friend. It’s a relief when you are released from your cell, but you have to go through the sewers if you are truly going to have freedom. The lever puzzle in Greedfall 2 is one obstacle that will be in your way to true escape from the sewers.

How to Solve the Lever Puzzle in Greedfall 2 A Dying World

During your escape, you will come to a lever puzzle that needs to be solved for you to leave the sewers. The lever puzzle can be found in the maintenance zone. In the upper area, there will be three levers. The first two work, but the third is stuck. You can attempt to fix it with your mechanism skill, but there is no guarantee that it will work.

If, by chance, it does work, then move the levers so the first two are pushed forward and the last one is pulled back. However, if you fail the prompt, then you will need to go find the thick oil to repair the broken lever.

Where to Find the Thick Oil

The oil can be found in a chest in a gate that is behind you. You’ll need to move the levers around until it opens, but once it does, you can head through the gate behind you to grab the oil. Approach the chest and grab the thick oil inside, along with the other items.

Return to the broken lever and apply the thick oil. Remember, the first two levers need to be pushed forward while the third one needs to be pushed backward. The gates will open, allowing you to continue on your way to freedom.

Well, after you defeat the enemies who are trying to put a stop to your escape, of course.
