How to Start and Complete the GreedFall 2 Mysterious Statuette Side Quest
The Mysterious Statuette side quest automatically begins when you approach the dead body in the Lake Region.
You will most likely explore this location while working on the A New Evil quest. Approach the corpse by the campfire and examine it.
If you pass the survival skill check, you will deduce that the marks on the body came from the Lewolans. Search the body and collect the Ancient Idol.
How to Find Out More About the Mysterious Statuette
Use tracking mode and you’ll reveal a dig spot close to the corpse’s location.
Collect the Journal Covered in Dirt and discover what the dead man was doing in the area. You suggest asking Furkan about the artifact, while Nilan advises you to talk to Mev. Talk to both of them to learn more about the Mysterious Statuette.
Mev tells you that the statuette is an ancient native item, but she doesn’t know the significance of the sun symbol on it. Furkan identifies the symbols as Theleme and tells you more about Matheus, the person mentioned in the archaeologist’s journal. Now that you know the significance of the Mysterious Statuette, you have two options:
- Give the Mysterious Statuette to Furkan: You receive +1 reputation with the Bridge Alliance and 350 XP.
- Give the Mysterious Statuette to the Chief Woodsman. During the Influence in the Council of Renewal quest, hand over the item to the Chief Woodsman to receive 350 XP and the Key to the Sawmill’s Safe, where you will find the High King’s Gift.
The choice is yours. If you want to boost your reputation with the Bridge Alliance, give the statuette to Furkan. On the other hand, if you prefer to acquire the High King’s Gift peacefully, give the ancient idol to the Chief Woodsman. The GreedFall 2 Mysterious Statuette quest ends once you decide what to do with the artifact.
