How to Complete the Missing Scales Quest In Greedfall 2

Talk to Gobannon, who will tell you about the missing scales. You’ll have to run around the village for a bit, talking to others to determine just who might have taken the scales, including Armal. Ultimately, Carmag will be the one to tell you that Vlann is the one who stole the scales. Not only that, but he had fled to the mines.

Return to Gobannon to tell him about what you have discovered. Then you need to speak with Toflan.

The quest will stall in the beginning because you need to start A New Evil quest. Once you get to the part where you can enter the deep tunnels, you can turn your attention to finding Vlann.

Finding Vlann

Go to the deep tunnels and look for the Forgotten Altar area. Explore, and you will find Vlann. He will admit to having the scales, but is not going to give them up. This leaves you with killing him or convincing him to go back to the village. The best option to keep up your reputation with your companions is to convince him to head back to the village.

Grab the scales and head back to the village. Approach Gobannon and explain to him what happened. In return for you getting back the scales, he is going to give you a statue, which you need to give back to Armal.

The reward for finishing the Missing Scales Quest in Greedfall 2 is an autumn bow.
