There are some traditional games in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii while also some very untraditional ones (Sicko Snap anyone?). This time we’re going to stick to the classics and talk about Madlantis Golf.
Unlike real golf which will put you to sleep, Pirate Yakuza makes this usually boring sport exciting and fun!
Unlocking Madlantis Golf in Like A Dragon Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii
It’s pretty easy to find Madlantis Golf in Honolulu. When you are in Madlantis Center, head straight for the building that has the words Golf over the picture of a pirate skull. It is one of those things that is truly impossible to miss.
Don’t you love it when they make things easy for you?
This mini game has 2 modes that can be played. Either Closest To The Pin or, alternatively, the Bingo Challenge. For those that want something a little on the easy side, we recommend Closest To The Pin. But hey, if you want a challenge who are we to stop you?
How to Play The Madlantis Golf Mini Game in Pirate Yakuza
When it comes to playing Madlantis Golf, keep in mind that the game will be different depending on the difficulty you decide to go with.
As we previously stated, the two challenges are Closest to the Pin and Bingo Challenge.
How To Play Closest To The Pin
In Closest To The Pin you’re given a total of ten (10) attempts to try and get the golf ball as close to the hole as possible. The whole is essentially the Pin. Around this is several different coloured circles. Each circle represents a total amount of points you can accumulate if the ball lands on it. The more points you manage to accumulate the higher your end rank will be
However, do keep in mind that as you continue to play there will be some obstacles to overcome. Such as the wind direction and speeds. Plus various cardboard stands that are just there to, essentially, be a wall to avoid you from reaching your target shot.
There is a total of three (3) different difficulty modes for this particular setting. With each increasing difficulty comes more cardboard related obstacles and weather obstructions.
Bingo Challenge Golf Mode
There is no trophy achievement for any Golf mini game, so just play for fun or to rack up points to exchange in the shop.
The Bingo Challenge gives you a 3×3 numbered grid instead of the usual golf hole. The goal is to hit the ball into as many of the panels as possible with the ten shots you are given.
As you continue to successfully hit these panels you will find that the panel will begin to move and the difficulty increasing. You will also need to keep an eye on the wind speeds too.
Hit all the panels within your allotted amount of shots to successfully pass this challenge and score an 8 bingo. Unlike in past Yakuza titles where this mini game has featured there is no cardboard cut-outs to avoid. There is also no other difficulty mode relating to the Bingo Challenge.
