In (MHWI) Monster Hunter Wilds character appearance and creation are a big deal. You could spend hours trying to perfect your character (which I have done) before hitting finish. But what happens when you aren’t satisfied with the end result?
Well, you change your appearance of course! There are two ways to change your appearance which we will cover here.
How to Quick Change Your Appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds
To easily change your appearance all you have to do is head to your base camp tent. When you go through the appearance menu, choose to change appearance. This will let you change the appearance of yourself and Palico.
This is a limited character creation so you can edit only a few parts of your hunter’s appearance such as: Hair/facial hair, eye color, eyebrow, make up/face paint, clothes/underclothes, and voice pitch to name a few.
But fear not MHWI players because there is a way you can change your character’s appearance in a much more detailed way.
How to Change Your Appearance in MHW With a Voucher
To edit your character basically to the point of recreating them you need to use a voucher. The only way to get the voucher is to go to the Monster Hunter Wilds store page and purchase a voucher. After purchasing the voucher, you can edit everything about the hunter. This includes body type, skin tone, and name.
Nothing wrong with using the voucher or quick editor. Just choose whatever one works for you! But if you do want to change your entire character, you will have to use a voucher. You can also change your palico but you’ll have to get a separate voucher for that too.
