Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Seek and You Shall Find is a side quest included in the Deluxe game edition. It gives access to 13 hidden treasure spots. Let’s see where you can find them all!
How to Begin the Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Seek and You Shall Find Side Quest
First of all, you need to have the Deluxe edition. The quest is automatically unlocked after you complete an early story mission. So, progress through the main quest until you get this side mission. After you get the quest, go to your private stash, where you will find a recording from the Journalist.
There are 13 hidden stashes all over the game world. Here are their locations and the items they offer.
Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Seek and You Shall Find Stash Locations
Journalist’s Stash 1 Zalissya Lesser Zone
Go outside Zalissya and search for an abandoned house with a blue truck nearby. Jump on the right headlight and then on the top of the truck. From there, jump on the roof of the house. Drop on the balcony and enter the house. The stash is on the top floor.
Reward: Mercenary’s Light Suit.
Journalist’s Stash 2 Sphere Lesser Zone
Follow the main story until you reach the Sphere. In this area, you will find a military camp. Find the small building near the outside wall. Climb on top of the roof using the ladder.
Reward: AR416 Monolith Rifle.
Journalist’s Stash 3 Northern Checkpoint Lesser Zone
Go to the Northern Checkpoint, where the Lesser Zone meets Garbage. Enter the compound and notice the big white building. Use the stairs on the western side to get to the roof. Go to its eastern side and descend to the lower roof to find the stash.
Reward: Viper Monolith SMG.
Journalist’s Stash 4 South Garbage
Go to the southern area of Garbage near the Northern Checkpoint. Find the broken bus and the stash inside it.
Reward: M860 Monolith Shotgun.
Journalist’s Stash 5 North Garbage
Go to the Slap Heap and head northwest to reach the car labyrinth area. Enter from the south and go through the space near the green container. Make a right and jump on the cars. Make another right and look on the ground to see the stash.
Reward: Tourist Suit.
Journalist’s Stash 6 Rostok
Head west of Garbage and reach Rostok. Enter through the eastern gate and make a left. You will reach a room with anomalies. Use the bolts to get rid of them and head right. You will find the stash near the bunk beds on the ground.
Reward: Riemann SMG.
Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Seek and You Shall Find Journalist’s Stash 7 Yaniv
Make your way to Yaniv. This area is above the Red Forest. You will reach a rail yard. Open the lock and enter the containers. Enter it, make a left, and search the end of the container for the stash.
Reward: Model Competitor Revolver.
Journalist’s Stash 8 Chemical Plant
Go to the Chemical Plant and cross the bridge to get to the western side. You will arrive near some train tracks. Notice the building guarded by soldiers. Jump on the top of the yellow truck. Jump on the platform and notice the open window above. Enter the building through the window and access the room on the left.
Reward: Lullaby Fora-221 Assault Rifle.
Journalist’s Stash 9 Burnt Forest
Make your way to the Burnt Forest. You can enter it from the Chemical Plant area. Find the ruins with the flashbang anomalies. Enter the ruins and use the stairs to reach the basement. You need to deal with a flame anomaly to access the stash.
Reward: SSP-100M SIRCAA Suit.
Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Seek and You Shall Find Journalist’s Stash 10 North Swamp
Go to the northern border of the Swap and reach the abandoned farm. Go to the north of the main building, notice the tractor, and jump on it. Jump on the fence and then on the roof. Reach the attic where the stash is through the broken roof.
Reward: Veteran Assault Rifle.
Journalist’s Stash 11 South Swamp
Follow the story until you reach the Clear Sky Base area. Find the derelict building without a roof. Jump on the roof and be wary of the gravity anomaly.
Reward: Wanderer Suit.
Journalist Stash 12 Duga
Reach Duga and enter the base through the yard on the southeastern side. Enter the armory and fight the Burer mutant. It’s a tough fight, so get ready for a serious encounter. Defeat the enemy and find the generator on the left side of the room. Activate it and take the stairs up to the control room. Activate the switch to unlock the gate and loot the locker.
Rewards:
- SA-U Gabon assault rifle
- SEVA-I suit.
Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Seek and You Shall Find Journalist Stash 13 Prypiat
After collecting the 12th stash, a PDA recording lets you know about one more stash in Prypiat. You can access this location during The Boundary main quest, which is towards the end of the campaign.
Once you arrive in Prypiat, walk along its southern side until you get to an open route. Follow it into a courtyard that has one apartment building. Enter the building and watch out for the Psydogs and Mutant Dogs. When you reach the apartment with the keypad, enter the 2021 code. The last stash is inside.

- Margach D-12MT shotgun.
- PSZ-21W Shturm suit.
