A Collection of Crests is an Assassins Creed Shadows side quest that requires you to find nine items. Let’s see what you must do to collect all nine crests!
How to Start A Collection of Crests
This side mission is available only when you play as Yasuke. You can start it as soon as you finish the Belly of the Beast main quest towards the end of the Act I chapter, An Eye for an Eye. Make your way to Kyoto and go to the Honnoji Temple. Check the houses south of the Temple to find Ota Gyuichi.
Head inside the house and talk to Ota. He will ask you to retrieve nine clan crests from containers all over the map.
How to Complete A Collection of Crests
The Kamon Crests are found in Castles. They are collectible items, so you can find them before starting the quest. Finishing the story will not lock you out of this mission. If you wish, you can go ahead with the main quests and retrieve the crests later.
The nine crests you must find are:
- Oda Clan Kamon.
- Akechi Clan Kamon.
- Hashiba Clan Kamon.
- Bessho Clan Kamon.
- Tsutsui Clan Kamon.
- Akiyama Clan Kamon.
- Ikko Ikki Kamon.
- Shibata Clan Kamon.
- Niwa Clan Kamon.
Where to Find the Nine Kamon Crests
Oda Clan Kamon
Region: Osaka, Izumi Settsu.
The chest containing the crest is in the derelict watchtower.
Akechi Clan Kamon
Region: Sakamoto, Omi.
Enter the building near the castle and move the crates to reveal the chest.
Hashiba Clan Kamon
Region: The Warfields, Harima.
The chest is in Hiraiyama Fort.
Bessho Clan Kamon
Region: Miki, Harima.
Enter the building on the northeastern side of the castle and find the chest behind the panel.
Tsutsui Clan Kamon
Region: Koriyama, Yamato.
This crest is on the lower floor of the castle.
Akiyama Clan Kamon
Region: Uda Matsuyama, Yamato.
Reach the top floor of the pagoda in the Uda Matsuyama castle and move the wooden panel to find the chest.
Ikko Ikki Clan Kamon
Region: Negoroji, Kii.
Search the guard tower for this chest.
Shibata Clan Kamon
Region: Mount Uchinakao, Wakasa.
Enter Genbao Fort and look for the chest behind the panel.
Niwa Clan Kamon
Region: Sotomo Gate, Wakasa.
Enter the small building in the Tsuruga Castle and move the panel.
Return to the quest giver with all the nine crests to end the quest and receive your reward: 1000 XP, the Falcon’s Eye Legendary Bow, the Bow Multishot engraving, and the Oda Kamon Banner cosmetic.
