This Romance Ibuki guide shows what you need to do to unlock the intimate cutscene with Ibuki in Assassins Creed Shadows. This romance option is only available when you play as Yasuke. Let’s see what you must do to meet Ibuki and become more than just friends!
How to Romance Ibuki
Ibuki becomes available as a romance option after you complete his three side quests and give the appropriate responses.
Ambush Interrupted
The Ambush Interrupted is the mission during which Yasuke meets Ibuki. Make your way to Kashiwara Village in Iga to find Ibuki. During the first conversation, choose the “I have changed” dialogue line.
Help them defeat the invaders and settle the conflict by choosing the “I would forgive him” option. After the quest ends, you unlock The Ronin trophy and the follow-up quest, Homecoming.
Homecoming
Ibuki asks Yasuke to meet them near a fort in Hijiyama, where his friend Kyobei is held prisoner. Interact with Ibuki and choose the “I am here to help” option to initiate the romance. Note that if you choose the “Maybe you’re overthinking it” line, Ibuki becomes your ally, but that locks you out of the romantic path.
The next step is to find Kyobei in the fort. During the dialogue, choose the option “Fight with us Kyobei”. Defeat the executioner and the guards and leave the area to meet Ibuki in Hijiyama.
Pick the “Your mind works in beautiful ways“ dialogue line to continue romancing Ibuki. To unlock them as an ally, say “You don’t have to be alone”. Once Homecoming ends, Ibuki becomes an ally and you unlock the next quest, Putting Down Roots.
Romance Ibuki – Putting Down Roots
Go to the Hideout and interact with Ibuki. The dialogue line that continues the romance is “You have beautiful eyes”. They believe the place could do with some more color.
Your task is to collect three flower seeds. Two are easy to obtain, but the third is in an enemy camp. Clear the way by defeating the enemies and collect the flower. Return to the Hideout and talk to Ibuki. During the dialogue, choose “I want more than a friendship” to unlock the special cutscene.
