Gothic Remake Swampweed Harvest is a side quest that requires you to collect the daily swampweed supply from two NPCs in the surrounding Swamp Camp area. This quest will help you earn Baal Orun’s support if you want to join the Swamp Camp.

How to Start and Complete the Gothic Remake Swampweed Harvest Quest
To unlock the Swampweed Harvest quest, you must first complete the Ghorim’s Replacement quest. Baal Orun will be impressed that you stood up for a camp member and will task you with gathering swampweed from the harvesters. However, he gives little indication of their locations. Depending on which camp you want to join, the quest has two endings.
How to Complete Ghorim’s Replacement Quest and Unlock the Swampweed Harvest Quest
From the Swamp Camp entrance, follow the path to the right until you reach the herb mashing area. Interact with Ghorim to begin the quest.
Follow the signs to the alchemy lab and find Harlok by the stairs, next to Fortuno’s shop.
Before talking to Harlok, make sure you are ready for a fight. Pick any dialogue option and defeat Harlok. Return to the herb mashing area to complete the quest. You can now talk to Baal Orun to trigger the Swampweed Harvest quest. If Baal Orun doesn’t offer the quest right away, leave the herb mashing area and return later.
Where to Find the Harvesters
The main part of the Gothic Remake Swampweed Harvest quest requires you to find Balor and Viran. The second harvester will also have a mission for you, so make sure you have a ranged weapon and at least 20-30 arrows. You should also have 50 ore nuggets to spare.
How to Find Balor
Leave the herb mashing area and head right. Cross the bridge and follow the path leading to a house. Make a left, cross the small bridge, and turn right to find Balor. Collect his harvest and ask him about a buyer. The information costs you 50 ore nuggets.
How to Find Viran
Return the way you came, enter the Swamp Camp, and make a right to reach a small pier. Jump into the water and go towards the hollow tree. Enter the tree trunk and follow the path to reach Viran’s house.
You can find Viran inside the house or on the roof. Unfortunately, Viran is not willing to hand over his harvest, so you must gain his trust by killing all the Bloodflies within 20 paces of his house. There are four Bloodfly packs you must defeat.
First Pack
From Viran’s house, go towards the beach to find the first Bloodfly group.
Second Pack
From Viran’s house, follow the path to the right and turn left before the lamp post. Follow the path to find another pack.
Third Pack
From the second pack’s location, go towards the hollow tree trunk and jump into the water. Reach the other side and look for the Bloodflies in the forest. This pack has six or seven enemies.
Fourth Pack
Return to the path and explore the area surrounding the nearby bridge to find the last group.
Gothic Remake Swampweed Harvest Ending – Should You Give The Harvest To Cor Kalom?
If you want to join the Swamp Camp, deliver the harvest to Cor Kalom and return to Baal Orun to complete the quest and receive a Sleep scroll, an item that will help you obtain Baal Cadar’s support.
The information you bought from Balor unlocks an alternate quest ending, but keep in mind that this path will prevent you from joining the Swamp Camp. Go to the Free Camp and sell the harvest to Cypher to make some money.
