Hytale Repair Kits are consumables that allow you to repair weapons and other items. The game implements item durability mechanics, meaning that gear takes damage when used.
Let’s see what you must do to keep your items in working condition for as long as possible!
How to Get Hytale Repair Kits and Fix Items
The only way to fix items is to use Repair Kits. You can make using:
- Linen Scraps x 2.
- Iron Ingot x 1.
- Light Leather x 1.
How to Obtain Crafting Materials and Repair Items
Iron Ingots are crafted at the furnace using iron ore. Light Leather is crafted in a tannery using light hide.

Linen Scraps are mostly obtained as drops from humanoid monsters. Your best bet is to farm goblins, skeletons, and trorks. Nighttime hunting is recommended, as more hostile creatures spawn during the night. You can find them during the day as well, but if you want to secure a nice stash of Linen Scraps, you should prepare for some after-dark exploration.

Many humanoid monsters use torches during the night, making it easier to spot them. Skeletons seem to spawn near ruins. Goblins favor mountain areas. Trorks set their camps on flat ground. Humanoid monsters spawn in all zones, so feel free to look for them in Zone 1. Don’t forget to check the chests in monster camps, as you may find Linen Scraps in them.

Once you have the materials, you can craft Hytale Repair Kits. Interact with a workbench, select the Tools tab, and find the Repair Kits among the craftable items.
To use a Repair Kit, place it on your hotbar, and right click on it. A list of items in need of repair will pop up. Select the item you want to repair. Keep in mind that this action will consume the Hytale Repair Kit. A repaired item loses 10% durability. You cannot repeatedly repair the same item. At one point, it will completely break. That’s why it’s a good idea to make multiple copies of your most-used tools and weapons.
