There are 19 types of seeds to collect and grow into crops. The main way to acquire seeds is to buy them from various NPCs. Some seeds appear as Collection Point Info. Use the Inquire action and the seed will appear on the map. Follow the exclamation mark sign to the nearby location and collect it. Other seeds are collected when using the Entreat or Contend actions.

How to Grow Crops In Octopath Traveler 0

Progress through the Kindlers of the Flame Part 2 quest and add Basil as a resident. Talk to him and select the Cultivate option. Choose the Octopath Traveler 0 Seeds you would like to grow and wait for the crops to grow. Interact with Basil to check the progress. Initially, you will have only two field slots. You can unlock up to six slots by spending Radiant Cornerstones.
