Assassins Creed Shadows The Betrayers is a side quest that unlocks Hori Hidemasa as a romance option. Let’s see what you must do to complete Hori’s request!
How to Start Assassins Creed Shadows The Betrayers
Make your way to Otsu in the Mouth of Seta in the Omi region. That is where you will find Hori Hidemasa.
Interact with him and listen to what he has to say. During the conversation, you can pick any dialogue option. Hori asks Yasuke to assist with tracking down and killing seven targets. You have the option to play as Yasuke or Naoe. You can complete the quest with any character, but you must switch to Yasuke at the end to unlock the romantic cutscene.
How to Complete Assassins Creed Shadows The Betrayers
After you talk to Hori, check out the quest board in the Objectives menu. Only two targets have clues. The third’s location is marked on the map. The last four targets become available after killing the first three.
Where to Find the First Three Targets
The first three targets are:
- Sato Katsubei.
- Fujichika Nakayama.
- Endo Tomoyasu.
Sato Katsubei
Travel to the Yamazaki Castle in Yamashiro. The target is in one of the houses on the northern side of the castle.
Fujichika Nakayama
Make your way to the Takatsuki Castle in Izumi Settsu. The recommendation is to play as Naoe and sneak towards the target on the northwestern side of the castle. Fujichika Nakayama is not alone, so you will have to deal with three enemies.
Endo Tomoyasu
This one has a map marker in Koyasan, Kii. As you approach the target’s location, you will meet Hori and discover that he has already taken out Endo Tomoyas.
Where to Find the Last Four Targets
After dealing with the first three targets, return to where you first met Hori in Otsu to get intel on the remaining four.
The last four targets are:
- Santo Genta.
- Itakura Shigezo.
- Usami Yoshiko.
- Masatoshi Nakahara.
Santo Genta
Travel to the Military Harbor in the Nobutada Estate in Azuchi, Omi to find Santo Genta on the docks. You can gain a combat advantage by using a ranged weapon before getting close and finishing him off.
Itakura Shigezo
Itakura Shigezo is in the Himeji Castle in Harima. You will find him outside the yard close to the brewery. Prepare to deal with a couple of enemies surrounding your target.
Usami Yoshiko
Reach the Katano Castle in Izumi Settsu. From the fast travel location, go outside the castle. The target is in one of the houses. This target has a dialogue option, so you can choose to spare her. Your decision doesn’t affect the outcome.
Masatoshi Nakahara
Masatoshi Nakahara’s map marker points to the Kameyama Castle in Tamba. You will find the target in the training area together with other enemies.
After taking care of all the seven targets, return to Hori. If you want to witness the special cutscene, make sure to play as Yasuke and select the “Meeting you was my reward” option when prompted.
